This infographic further highlights key takeaways from Public Security Minister Tiran Alles' speech. Following this, MP G. G. Ponnambalam called for a division on the budget head pertaining to the Defence Ministry. 76 votes were cast in favour of its approval, while 8 votes were cast against it and 140 MPs were absent.en_US
