    Abstract
9th parliament appointed a Select Committee to look into and report to Parliament its recommendations to ensure gender equity and equality with special emphasis on looking into gender based discriminations and violations of women’s rights in Sri Lanka. This infographic shows the attendance for the three meetings held on 4th July, 8th August and 21st October in 2021. Out of the 25 members of the committee, only Sudharshini Fernandopulle has attended all 3 meetings. It also shows that the State Minister of Women and Child Development, Pre-school and Primary Education, School Infrastructure and Education Servises, Piyal Nishantha has not attended even a single meeting.
